My Case Terms of Service

Last updated August 15, 2026. These Terms are the agreement between you and My Case. By creating an account, signing in, or using My Case you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

Who May Use My Case

My Case is a private case-interview practice tool for students at registered schools. You must sign up with a verified school email address, you must be at least 18 years old, and you may hold only one account. You are responsible for everything done under your account and for keeping your sign-in details private.

What My Case Is

My Case pairs you one-to-one with another student for live practice interviews over video, and gives you cases, drills and feedback tools to use during and after those sessions. Practice sessions happen between you and one other person. My Case does not supervise sessions in real time.

My Case is also a case tracker, not only a place to hold interviews. You can practise in person — sitting across a table from your partner — and still run the case, keep time, share exhibits and record the recap on My Case. An in-person session uses no camera or microphone. Your history, your progress and your recommendations count in-person practice exactly the same as practice held over video.

Schools, School Cases And School Leaders

Some of the cases on My Case are created and managed by your school rather than by us. That material belongs to the school that made it and is provided to you for your own practice. Do not redistribute it outside My Case, and follow any additional rules your school attaches to it. My Case does not author, own or warrant school-provided cases.

Signing up with a school email links your account to that school. People your school designates as school leaders may see how practice is going at their school — currently the average standing of each group, shown as a percentile, without individual names or results. What a leader can see is described in the Privacy Policy, and we will update that page before widening it.

Your Content

You keep ownership of what you write and record — notes, recap feedback, ratings, profile text, and any session recording you make. You grant My Case only the licence it needs to store that content and show it to the person it is for: your practice counterpart sees the feedback you write for them, and aggregate ratings feed the case library's helpfulness percentages.

Zero Tolerance For Abuse And Objectionable Content

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour on My Case. You agree not to, in a session, in written feedback, in your profile, or anywhere else:

  • harass, bully, threaten, stalk or intimidate another user;
  • post or transmit hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, violent or illegal content;
  • impersonate another person, school or employer;
  • record, screenshot or redistribute another user's video, audio or feedback without their consent;
  • share another user's personal information;
  • send spam, solicit, or use My Case for commercial recruiting;
  • upload material you have no right to share, or attempt to break, scrape or overload the service.

You can block any user, which removes them from every list you see and removes you from theirs, and you can report any user from their profile or from inside a live session. Reports are reviewed and acted on within 24 hours, and a user who violates these rules may have content removed and their account suspended or terminated without notice. See Safety and moderation for how to reach us.

Recording

A session may be recorded only when both participants have consented in the app. Do not record by any other means. A recording is for the participants' own review.

Deleting Your Account

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app, or at /account/delete on the web. Deletion is immediate and irreversible: it erases your email address, name, photo, school, bio, linked Google and LinkedIn identities, push tokens, recordings and every active sign-in. Because practice is one-to-one, the sessions you took part in stay visible to the other participant, with your identity removed. See the Privacy Policy for the full list.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, that is used to abuse another user, or that is no longer eligible — for example because the school email is no longer valid. You may stop using My Case at any time.

No Warranty, And Limits On Liability

My Case is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. It is a practice tool; it does not promise an interview, an offer, or any outcome. To the fullest extent the law allows, My Case is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for the conduct of another user. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes are announced in the app, and continuing to use My Case after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
